GSL Finals [Do yourself a favour - watch these games]
« on: May 16, 2012, 12:16:04 PM »
Really excited for this GSL finals as it's TvP which is one of my favorite match-ups to watch, Gonna have a couple guys over for drinks and to watch the games. So far I think it's just Wist and a couple of my friends who don't come on here.. If anyone is interested in coming out for this msg on here and assuming there isn't too many coming by that time I will send you my address (I live in Moose Jaw).

I don't have a huge house otherwise I would make it open invite, but I do have a nice 52'' TV and comfortable seating for 6-7 people if not a couple more. Would be down to setup some pc's and play D3 / SC2 until the games start as well.

Not going to lie- I stopped watching game 5 a few minutes before it was over.  Thinking I knew who had won.  lol.

Damn I think I need to watch the whole series after hearing some more.

Assuming everyone has watched it by now...As crazy as Game 5 was with mass BC's vs archon/void and the huge vortex..It doesn't surpass Game 7 for me.. I don't understand how MVP loses game 4, 5 , and 6 and then decides in Game 7 of the biggest tournament in SC2 that he's going to Proxy 2 rax.. Who does that? Insane.

In his interview MVP had this to say:
Quote
You tried a[n] 11-11 proxy barracks in Set 7, how did you feel when you were initially pushed back?

Honestly, I didn’t practise for Set 7 at all. I focused more on earlier sets so if it went to the seventh set, I was planning to just go for 11-11. I’d already done it against Naniwa in a previous match so was able to execute it without major flaws.

I haven't seen many games on Atlantis Spaceship, but it doesn't look like a very good map for [terran] vs [protoss]

It's a massive map.
