Saskgamers 'The Greenroom' starcraft tournament

Chaos:
What: Online tournament for anyone in Saskatchewan.
Where: Battle.net (Channel SaskGamers)
When: July 15th at noon
Prize: Top 4 players win a spot in the televised tournament on July 22nd (in Regina).


We are hosting an online qualifier tournament to seed 4!( thats four) players into a 8 player access 7 tournament which will be turned into a tv series to air sometime in the fall. The show will be filmed on july 22nd 09:00 to 21:00 (-06:00 GMT)
Here are the details:


* Anyone can sign up here http://challonge.com/tournaments/signup/t4i82xg8eq
* you can sign up anytime up until july 15th noon (-06:00 GMT). At this time the tournament will commence.
* This tournament is completely online and free!
* You must be able to make it to Regina, SK, Canada on july 22nd in order to play in the access 7 tournament should you get top 4
* 4 players will be invited to the tv show based on previous results in saskgamers tournaments and high skill level (get the most entertainment value). This tournament will seed the other 4 spots
* The tournament will be bo3 swiss system. We had great success with this last tournament and will continue to use it
* The tournament will be played entirely on july 15th, we will open a vent server and bnet channel to allow players to chat, setup matches etc. We will need a map list, post the maps you would like to see or not see, by default we will have all of the current 1v1 ladder maps

Prizes:
The Access 7 Tournament has big prizes for everyone who is in the tournament.
The Greenroom tournament only prize is an invite to the Access 7 Tournament for the top 4 players.

Looking forward to this.  I won't be able to play :(  but I should be on SC2 more to help people practice and answer questions w.r.t. to what we know about the upcoming televised tournament.

Shakuras, Condemned and Tal'darim are all pretty terrible/out of date maps now in my opinion. Metro is a good standard replacement...since the tourney is Bo3 we don't really need a large map pool. Entombed is fine as long as it's close pos off.
